MinCFO is rethinking the finance function for small and medium-sized companies. We’re building a modern Finance-as-a-Service platform that delivers deep, real-time insights and puts founders in control — without the cost and overhead of an in-house finance team.

The platform connects to the systems for bookkeeping, payroll, CRM and more — and turns raw data into clear reporting and actionable insights. We blend smart software, financial tooling and real human expertise to make financial management smarter, simpler and growth-ready.
Why we exist
Fast-growing companies need financial clarity and structure, but most don’t have the time or resources to build it internally. MinCFO was created to close that gap. We’ve already helped dozens of companies take control of their numbers — now we’re productizing that know-how for scale and looking for the engineer who will lead the way technically.

Role Overview
We’re hiring our first in-house developer. This is a unique opportunity to:
Build something from scratch
Shape how product and tech are built
Work close to the business side, where your code has visible impact
Grow into a CTO role as we scale
Requirement Profile
We’re looking for someone with the confidence and curiosity to figure things out. You’ve worked across the stack and want to build your own product end-to-end.
Responsibilities
Design and build the core MinCFO platform from scratch
Develop new features, integrations etc.
Ensure a secure, scalable, and well-structured system
Collaborate directly with the founders and product stakeholders
Take technical ownership and define dev processes and workflows
Daily Activities
Fullstack development (frontend + backend)
Build and document APIs and data flows
Work with authentication, security, and data privacy
Connect to financial tools and external services
Collaborate with founders and customers to iterate quickly
Set up DevOps and deployment pipelines (from scratch or with help)
Skills & Experience
(You don’t need everything – but a solid start helps)
At least 3 years of fullstack or relevant development experience
Comfortable working across frontend and backend
Experience with at least one modern frontend framework – e.g. React, Vue, Angular
Experience with backend technologies such as – Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, etc. (No need to know them all)
Built APIs and worked with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Understanding of security, authentication, and scalable architecture
Familiar with CI/CD, deployment, and version control workflows
Self-driven and confident in making tech decisions – with a bias for action
Bonus if you have:
Fintech or accounting system experience
Experience building dashboards or data visualizations
Experience in early-stage companies or as a solo developer
Interest in financial data, analytics, or automation
