Hey Sid is a product company growing across Gothenburg and Stockholm, and the finance work that comes with that, bookkeeping, the monthly close, reporting, kept landing on the people whose time belonged on the product and its customers.

We took the entire finance function, not pieces of it: day-to-day accounting, the monthly close, and reporting that's actually readable, run by a team that knows the business rather than a rotating set of contacts.

Results

Handing finance off didn't pull Hey Sid further from its numbers, it brought them closer. The founders spend their week on the product and its customers, and the monthly picture is something they read rather than assemble.
